Here's a super simple, delicious take on baked beans!

Maple Ham and Beans

Ingredients:
2 pounds dry navy beans, soaked over night.
1 onion diced
2-3 pound North Valley Pastures ham hock.
1 cup North Valley Pastures maple syrup
½ brown sugar
3 tsp dry mustard
3 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Directions:
Put all the ingredients into a slow cooker. Add enough water to mostly cover the beans and the hock. (depending on the size of the ham hock, the water may not completely cover it).
Cook on high 4-6 hours, or on low 6-8 hours.
Once cooked remove the hock and shred the meat off the bone. Add the meat back to the beans.
