Hey, we are Josh and Bethany, Regenerative Farmers in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It is our passion to produce top quality, pasture raised meats in a manner that heals and restores our land.

First off, Thanks so much for checking out our website and learning about our farm. We hope that we can be of help to you! The journey of life is laced with twists and turns. A great example is the birth of our farm. But, the back story is important, so lets rewind a few decades. Josh was born and raised on a farm.  Picking veges and selling them at the farmers market are some of his earliest memories. A true farm boy, he was hooked at an early age, determined to have a farm of his own one day. A caveat though... no veggies, just livestock!  Bethany grew up a country gal with a love for animals.  Living on a farm was her dream.  Our paths intersected in our teenage years, and marriage followed in 2017. It was time to start a farm.  Phone calls, meetings with bankers, property visits... nothing, and we are so glad.  You see, we had a very conventional mindset about farming at that point, and were looking for a large confinement poultry farm.  A year and a half later we gave up, no poultry farm for us, and we settled on a small piece of land tucked in behind Little North Mountain in north western Rockingham County VA.  The Covid19 lock downs of 2020 found us with time on our hands and we began to learn about Regenerative Ag.  Inspired and changed, we founded our farm and took off running. The driving focus of North Valley Pastures is to produce top quality food in a way that regenerates our land, and respects our livestock.  We do this through a pasture based production system that has proven to eliminate our need for pesticides, antibiotics, and other commonly used "crutches". Visit "Our Farm" page for in in depth look at the amazing thing called "regenerative agriculture"! It has been a great adventure over the past few years. We are so excited to take you along with us on this journey. Take a few minutes to explore our website, check out our products, and consider subscribing to our Email Newsletter.
