Classic Beef Pot Roast

Nothing beats a pot roast. The veggies are just as delicious as the meat!

Ingredients:

3 lb roast

2 Tbsp oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

1 ½ cups of water


4 medium potatoes

3-4 medium carrots

1 onion

2 stalks of celery

2 Tbsp of olive oil


Cooking Directions:

Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a frying pan. Rub the seasonings over the roast. Sear the meat in hot oil on all sides. Approximately 5 minutes.

Place meat in a greased baking pan. Add the water to the pan.

Wash, peel and cut up the vegetables.

Place the vegetables around the meat. Drizzle the veggies with 2 tbsp of olive oil.

Cover with foil. Bake for 4 hours at 350.
