Steak and Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients:

2 red bell peppers, thinly sliced

1 large onion, thinly sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

salt and pepper

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 lbs sirloin steak very thinly sliced

6 slices provolone cheese

6 hoagie rolls


Directions:

In a large skillet, saute the bell peppers and the onion in the olive oil for 8-10 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and saute for another minute.

Add the thinly sliced beef and saute until brown. 4-5 minutes. Do not overcook or the meat will get tough.

Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.

Optional: Butter the inside of the hoagie buns and place under the broiler until toasted.

Evenly divide the meat among the buns and add the cheese on top of the meat.
