Ingredients:
1 lb chicken breast cubed or *cooked shredded chicken*
1 medium onion chopped
1 ½ tsp garlic powder or 4 cloves garlic diced
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 pints great northern beans
1 quart chicken broth
4 oz canned green chilies
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp pepper
¼ tsp cayenne
1 cup sour cream
½ cup heavy cream
Directions
Saute onions, garlic and chicken in oil.
Add beans, broth, chilies, salt, cumin, oregano, pepper and cayenne. Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
Remove from heat and add sour cream and heavy cream. Stir until well combined. Enjoy!
*If using precooked chicken, add it in with the broth and beans.
